
Maître Emmanuel BURAKUVYE
Maître Emmanuel BURAKUVYE is a distinguished legal expert and Partner at BNM & Co. Advocates, with a career spanning over two decades since his debut in 2004. A former Magistrate in several jurisdictions, including Mwumba, Ngozi, and Gitega, he also served as Vice-President of the Gitega Court of Appeal.
His expertise extends into public procurement, having held the role of Technical Director for Training and Technical Support at the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (ARMP). He is a certified trainer, former member of the Ministry of Justice’s national training pool, and currently works as a part-time lecturer.
Maître Burakuvye holds specialized certifications in public procurement procedures from institutions such as ENA (France) and IDLO (Brazzaville), with a deep understanding of procurement standards from the World Bank, European Union, AfDB, and BADEA. He also completed trainer training under COMESA in Ethiopia and has received training in judicial and prosecutorial management.
He holds a B.A. in Philosophy, a Law Degree, and a Postgraduate Diploma (DESS) in Human Rights and Peaceful Conflict Resolution.
